• Salem is frozen in the aftermath of an ice-storm, preventing anyone from attending the wedding nuptials of Maggie Horton and Victor Kiriakis, who opt to marry with only a handful of family present. 
• Elvis attempts to woo Nicole after their night of ice-storm-induced passion, but she feels manipulated and flees the mansion. 
• Brady and Madison awaken barely dressed after their drunken night.
• Henderson and Victor share a secret.
• As Maggie prepares to walk down the aisle on the arm of newly-found egg-baby son Daniel, Victor jokes that the "sixth time is the charm"

SalemDay 37 began on Wednesday, November 9.

• Jack and Jennifer finally return after being stranded during the ice-storm.
• Carrie and Rafe plot John's defense.

• During the bedlam of the gun assault, Johnny goes missing.
• No one is injured during the pub attack, but Johnny's disappearance keeps most of Salem up all night, searching and worrying.

SalemDay 39 began on Wednesday, November 16.

• As everyone searches for the lost Johnny, Samanther grows angry at Rafe for insisting they meet John at the pub.
• When a torn, bloody shirt is found, the worst is feared.
• Marlena and John visit the loft to offer support, only to have Samanther lash out in furious anger.
• In a misguided attempt to keep his family "safe", John announces he will plead guilty, despite the wishes of attorney Carrie and the protestations of wife Marlena.
• When news of a dead child is leaked to the media, Rafe goes to identify the body and Samanther flees the loft, heading for the DiMera Mansion.
• Samanther and Elvis argue, then tear the clothes off one another and cry their way through sex on the very same sofa upon which he boinked Nicole a scant few Salem Days earlier.

• Maggie plans to prepare a Thanksgiving Meal in her own kitchen, forgoing the ultra-modern chef's kitchen at the Kiriakis Mansion and sending all the Kiriakis staff home for a 4 day weekend.
• Melanie fantasizes about Chad and chastises her father for giving up on Jennifer.
• Despite the pleas of his wife and attorney, John pleads guilty and is sentenced to 25 years in prison, with no chance of parole, devastating Marlena.
• Jack reveals that he intends to stay in town and take a position as a journalism instructor at Salem University, prompting Austin to also announce plans to leave his corporate career to create a new college curriculum focused on forensic accounting.

SalemDay 41 began on Monday November 28:

• Jack and Abigail bond at Horton Square, where he reveals that she has won a journalism prize for an article she wrote for the sports website run by Sonny, Chad, and Will.
• Hit once again by a trojan horse fueled by the illegal gambling site, the young entrepeneurs decide to shut down the site and move on to other projects.
• Madison, Kate, and Nicole all pay visits to the new day spa started by ex-pimp Quinn Hudson.
• Will visits with Marlena, ranting about his mother's behavior, yet remaining vague and nonspecific, leading his grandmother to presume something else is upsetting him.
• Bo and Hope discover a letter from Susan Banks among Alice's personal letters.
• Jack agrees to meet with Marlena to discuss the after-effects of his imprisonment in Afghanistan, then proceeds to collapse as he emotionally recounts the dismemberment and murder of his fellow captive and lone companion.

SalemDay 42 began on Wednesday November 30.

• While unpacking the Horton Ornaments, Bo and Hope discover a hidden note, declaring that the bearer is guaranteed one major favor, repaying a debt to Alice.
• Elvis convinces Nicole to drop her divorce plans and move back into the mansion.
• Daniel and Melanie both receive ornaments and join in decorating the Horton Tree.

SalemDay 22 began on Friday August 26.

• Kate frets about a deal that was stopped by "DiMera Corporate", verbally spars with her stepson Elvis about the future of the family, seeks secret financing from ex-husband Victor (with Maggie looking on), and finally gets her funding from an all-knowing Elvis.
• Samantha has surgery to remove her cysts, has a coma-inducing reaction to her anesthesia, awakens to the cheer of her father and husband, dines on a banana split, and convinces Alexandra to let her recuperate at home, where she and Rafe decide to have a night on the town, only to be interrupted with an invitation to the doctor's office for inconclusive, not positive news.
• Chloe videoconferences with Parker from The Cheating Heart, dines with Kinsey at the Pub, learns that her Brookville singing gig has been flooded out, freaks that she will not be able to pay her rent, begs Quinn for "work", which he declines, leading her to make an appointment on her own.
• T has another homophobic meltdown at the End Of Summer Picnic by the lake, dissing Daniel, Jennifer, and Jackson, while distancing himself further from the college-bound crowd.
• Gus dreams of Vivian's profession of love, only to be crestfallen yet again when she only has thoughts of Quinn.
• Carly begins therapy with Nicholas, who remains angry that she killed his father.

• During a visit to Salem Oaks, Melanie and Nicholas both forgive Carly, who remains unable to forgive herself for what she thinks she has done to her children.
• Gus continues to fume as Vivian bonds with her son.
• Taylor and Quinn reconnect after Quinn reveals he whitewashed her arrest record, guaranteeing no one will ever know her past.

• One Salem Day after telling her family that she enjoys living at the Kiriakis Mansion, Maggie decides to move out of the mansion and return home, disappointing Victor.
• Carly makes amends to Jennifer and Daniel, while weakly approving of their new-found relationship.
• While meeting his wife for lunch at Chez Rouge, Abe considers not running for re-election, a notion that Alexandra immediately rejects, encouraging him to complete the job.
• Dario departs Salem.
• After swiping a hotel card-key, Gus hides a bloody club in Quinn's room, then is conveniently there to watch everything when the police arrive with a search warrant and arrest Quinn Hudson for the attacks on the pier.

SalemDay 25 began on Tuesday September 20.

• After Taylor is taken into custody for allegedly helping Quinn remain hidden, Nicole arranges for Elvis to represent her at arraignment.
• Jennifer coaches Samantha on interview skills for an upcoming job opportunity before joining Daniel at the pub, where Caroline admits that she also has no details about the big party and where Jennifer receives the first of several phantom phone calls on her cell.
• Chloe awakens from her coma, reveals that Gus attacked her, prompting the police to realize that they have the wrong man, and learns that  Brady knows everything.
• Gus avoids capture in the police station by wielding a knife to his neck and then taking Nicole hostage, after which Viv sweetly charms Gus, allowing the Salem PD to make their move, rescue Nicole, and arrest him.
• Chloe continues to recover at the hospital and is thrilled to receive a nice juicy reward check from Mayor Abe Carver.
• Melanie, Daniel, and Jennifer attend Carly's graduation from rehab and wish her well on her upcoming travels to Europe with Nicholas.
• Upset that she was tricked/deceived/hurt by aide-de-camp Gus, Vivian is startled when Ivan, who has successfully invested his lottery winnings and become an even wealthier Bollywood movie producer, returns to sweep her away to a new life.
• Released from jail, Quinn convinces Taylor to join him in leaving Salem.
• Ivan convinces his madame to join him in new adventures around the world, prompting Vivian to send Carly dead black roses as a parting gift. 

SalemDay 26 began on Friday September 23.

• Jack checks into the Salem Inn and makes more phantom phone calls to his ex-wife.
• The Hortons gather and remember Tom and Alice. 
• Stefano is thrilled that Elvis has finalized his plan to re-make the DiMera reputation.

SalemDay 27 began on Monday September 26.

• It is a bright sunny beautiful day for the dedication of Horton Town Square.
• Hope promises big surprises, the first of which is the return of Austin and Carrie Reed.
• Kate taunts Chloe at the hospital, threatening to reveal her prostitution ways, heads to the town square for a decidedly awkward reunion with son Austin Reed, points out the new nearby digs for the relaunched Countess Wilhelmina cosmetics line, joins her husband to mock the Hortons from afar, and later returns to the mansion to surf "the blogosphere" for news on the DiMera announcement, at which time she spies a candid photo of arch-rival Madison James at the public event. 
• Nicole professes to being man-free, even as Elvis continues to charm her. 
• Hope excitedly introduces John Black and Marlena Evans Black as honored guests.
• Samantha and Carrie are thrilled to reunite with Marlena and then equally thrilled when John steps out of his wheelchair, revealing that he is no longer paralyzed.
• Mayor Carver officially dedicates the Horton Town Square, has his wife make a heartwarming introduction to announce his intention for run for re-election, only to have Elvis DiMera take to the stage and announce his intentions to run for election and defeat his brother-in-law.
• Jack meanders around the town square, unnoticed until he falls from a stairway on top of the massive celebration cake planned for the event.
• Chloe learns that she has gotten an ongoing singing gig in Chicago, makes plans to move, bids farewell to Nicole and Brady, and departs Salem with Kinsey in tow.
• Marlena instantly bonds with grandson Will, revealing that he has been emailing her almost daily, although markedly never discussing anything personal about his own life. 
• Austin receives notice from the SEC that he will be working a large case while Rafe receives an unsettling phone call from the authorities about an imminent arrest and frantically tries to reach his wife.
• Jennifer, Abigail, and Adrienne are stunned by Jack's return, including his story that he was held captive in Afghanistan for nearly a year.
• Victor arranges a very public marriage proposal, which is interrupted when John is suddenly arrested by Rafe for pension fraud.

SalemDay 28 began on Tuesday October 4.

• Marlena visits John at the police station, discovers he was badly beaten during the night by other prisoners, learns that bail has been awarded, and realizes he must remain in jail when all of their vast assets are frozen 
• Brady and Victor have an early  breakfast meeting with the CEO of MadWorld Cosmetics, Madison James, who hires long-ago Colorado elementary schoolmate Samanther as her main assistant, much to the chagrin/amazement of competitor Kate.
• When John's attorneys quit en masse, Carrie takes his case, despite having never passed the bar exam in the United States.

SalemDay 29 began on Monday October 10.

• After a second night in jail, John announces that he wants to divorce Marlena, who then angrily races to the DiMera Mansion, slaps Stefano, and vows that the truth will come out and that her husband will be vindicated.
• Daniel and Jack argue about Jennifer, who admits that she still loves Jack.
• Abe and Elvis conduct an impromptu television mayoral debate in the Horton Town Square, where Abe announces his intention to lead the effort to raise John's bail, set him free, and prove his innocence. 
• Carrie negotiates a home-confinement release for John's protection and then shares a quiet romantic night with Austin in their hotel suite.
• Nate Berkus agrees to design Mad World's new office digs, just off the Horton Town Square. 
• While investigating Alice's mysterious bank statements, Bo and Hope receive a cease-and-desist order, which is immediately overturned after the Bradys visit Alice's attorney, who provides the couple with more private papers, which include a partially-written, never-sent letter to Maggie, revealing that embryos harvested in the 1970s led to the birth of a child.

SalemDay 30 began on Tuesday October 18.

• At an early morning meeting with old friend and new boss, Samanther battles unruly children, brainstorms with Madison, and is given the plum assignment to launch a new anti-aging face cream.
• After consulting with John and Marlena on details of his case, Carrie jets off to interview an orderly in the Swiss Rehabilitation Facility where John claims to have been when photos of him in a French cafe were taken, confusing her husband. 
• Maggie finds paperwork regarding the embryo facility, learns that the facility likely never existed, and encourages Bo and Hope to continue their investigation.
• Melanie counsels Abigail to not remain angry at her returned father, despite the fact that Jack's return will likely mean an end to her own father's romance with Jennifer.
• Jennifer feels torn between Jack and Daniel, negotiating a semi-truce while deciding to date each of them.
• A quiet evening at the townhouse with Abe and Alexandra is loudly interrupted when a brick is tossed through the window, threatening John's life.
• Alice's lawyer stonewalls Bo and Hope and refuses to reveal additional details.
• Victor quietly recognizes the name of the non-existent fertility clinic and makes a secret phone call to close some loose ends.

SalemDay 31 began on Thursday October 20.

• While shopping for Halloween costumes, Chad and Melanie flirt, an interaction not unnoticed by her father.
• Abigail is upset when Jack arrives for his date with Jennifer. 
• After learning that Rafe tipped Carrie on a few leads in the investigation, Roman fires his son-in-law from the police force and installs Bo as lead investigator. 
• Samanther invites Austin to stay at the apartment, leading to angry reactions from just-fired Rafe and awkward moments when Austin strips naked in the living room as his sister-in-law arrives and then tumbles onto the couch in a giggling mess. 
• Abe offers to hire Jennifer as his lead PR staffer, in an effort to combat Nicole's surprisingly effective tactics in the mayoral campaign.

SalemDay 32  began on Tuesday October 25.

• Maggie, Bo, and Hope head to the fertility clinic, where the lead administrator admits that her eggs were in fact there at one point, that a woman was successfully implanted with them, leading to a child, and that due to confidentiality issues, she is unable to provide any additional information.
• Kate and Austin attempt to bond over lunch at the pub. 
• Marlena and Brady argue about his unwillingness to meet up with his house-arrested father.
• Chad and Melanie continue to bond while decorating the Horton Town Sqyare for Halloween festivities, an interaction not unnoticed by Abigail.
• While on their date, Daniel arranges for Jennifer to meet up with a political consultant, who convinces Jennifer to accept the PR position in the Carver Re-Election Campaign.
• After a hyper-critical news article appears a bout Elvis, Stefano is on the warpath to have Nicole removed once an for all from his son's life, a goal immediately blocked by the candidate himself, who has fallen back into love/lust/trust/respect with Nicole, especially after she wows some out-of-town political consultants. 
• Marlena probes Will for information, noting that parts of his email communications with him while she was away alluded to some "major" issues.
• Madison uses Brady to demonstrate her new male cosmetic skincare product line, heating up the rented suite at Titan International and making Samanther an awkward third-wheel. 
• Bo and Hope sneak into the fertility clinic after hours and learn that Lillian Parker was the woman impregnated with Maggie's eggs.

• Elvis and Nicole are annoyed to learn that Quinn has returned from Salem, having ditched Taylor in Europe.
• Stefano attempts to get Abe named Governor.
• The collegiate sports website created by Will, Jackson, and Chad is hacked by sports gamblers.
• After successfully locating a witness in Switzerland, Carrie returns to Salem and hires a depressed unemployed Rafe to help clear John's name.
• While preparing for the Victor-Maggie nuptials at the Kiriakis Mansion, Hope and Bo renew their wedding vows in a private ceremony.

SalemDay 35 began on Friday, November 4.

• A freak snow and ice storm hits the Salem area, stranding Jack and Jennifer in an isolated country cabin while they are on their cross-country skiing date.
• Brady and Madison are stranded at Titan's offices, flirt endlessly, guzzle wine, and dine on snacks from the vending machine.
• Maggie and Victor host a tense rehearsal dinner with a handful of family, including egg-baby Daniel, who drinks heavily to the annoyance of daughter Melanie.

• Quinn discovers Kate's plan to out Chloe as a hooker, returns her money, warns Mrs DiMera to steer clear of his employees, and claims to be unafraid of Stefano DiMera.
• Carly has vivid dreams of Daniel, Jennifer, Melanie, Vivian, and Lawrence, leading her to call Quinn's drug dealer to place an order.
• Maggie reveals to Adrienne that she and Victor are a new, happy couple.
• Jackson Kiriakis gets a job offer to work for the Salem DA.

• Maggie remains in a coma as Victor sits vigil
• Carly decides to leave Quinn's hotel room and return to her Salem Inn suite.
• Brady invites Taylor to move into the Kiriakis Mansion, while a drunken Elvis convinces Nicole to move back into the DiMera Mansion to protect Sydney.
• Brady orders that Chad be shot.
• Thanks to her Living Will, Maggie is removed from the ventilator, then awakens, thrilling her heartbroken nieces Hope and Jennifer.
• Chad is released from the hospital with a minor fleshwound and a bitter attitude toward his new family.
• Another hooker is beaten/stabbed near the pier.
• Vivian taunts Carly, announces that Quinn is her son, and sends Carly into another emotional tailspin, leading her to sneak pills on her way to rehab.
• Stefano takes to his bed, shaken that new son Chad was nearly killed.
• Chloe visits with Parker.
• After quitting her senior executive job at Basic Black, Taylor is hired by the Salem PD to be an administrative assistant, taking the job that Samantha desperately wanted.
• Kinsey attempts to turn her first trick, is terrorized by an aggressive client, and calls Chloe for help, who arrives just in time to send Kinsey on her way.
• Carly undergoes major withdrawal at the rehab center, but awakens when her son Nicholas Alamain arrives at her side and insists that he will never leave her side.
• Insisting her past is now firmly in the past, Taylor reconnects with Quinn, who is charmed once again and proceeds to blackmail her to protect his business interests.
• Samantha refuses to believe that she isn't pregnant despite Lexie's stern advisories.
• A third prostitute is attacked on the pier.
• At Maggie's urging, the Kiriakis and DiMera family end their feud.

SalemDay 21 began on Tuesday August 23.

• Samantha undergoes tests at Salem University Hospital and learns that she has cysts which could be cancerous.
• Abe decides that the police force should investigate the attacks on the working girls of Salem.
• Chloe panics at news of the third attack, insisting to Kinsey that she will be fine before confronting Quinn about his alleged "protection" and then realizing that Kate hired Quinn to turn Chloe into a hooker.
• A confused and distraught Quinn loses his computer
• Carly awakens to memories of a "man holding her hand", only to have her dreams come true when son Nicholas returns to her rehab room.
• Daniel and Jennifer try to have another picnic in the park.
• Jackson tells his parents that he is interested in attending Salem University 
• Chloe confronts Kate, who admits her role introducing Quinn into the picture, while a note from the attacker arrives at the police station, prompting Roman to make a televised plea for calm and safety.

Another New Day in Salem

SalemDay 17 began on Tuesday July 12.

• Stefano denounces/disowns Elvis
• Jackson runs into the recent Salem High grads in the park, plays volleyball while Kinsey swoons, meets his concerned parents at Brady Pub, and heads to the Kiriakis Mansion to announce that his Uncle Victor will never be disappointed that the has met the wrong girl as he is proudly, openly gay.
• Taylor visits a hungover Nicole in her hotel room and is interrupted by a pleading Elvis, whom she summarily rejects yet again.
• Mayor Abe advises that the DA wants Hope removed from interrogation of Fake Rafe, then urges Bo to call in a favor from Victor, who contacts Governor Ford, who in turn grants a full pardon/expulsion to Hope, allowing her to be reinstated as a fulltime police detective.
• FBI Agent Sofia mesmerizes Fake Rafe with her (fake) stories of a rich, powerful Colombian Drug Family, prompting him to finally rat out the DiMeras and leading him to believe he will be safely hidden away in South America as Sofia's partner.
• A mere hours after denouncing and disowning his son, Stefano repents, apologizes, and tells Elvis that all is well, although they will need to flee the country to escape imminent arrest by the Salem PD.
• Tad and Kinsey surf the net, admiring chummy photos of Jackson Kiriakis, who arrives to kibbutz with his cousin Abigail about coming out to Uncle Victor ("I'm here, I'm queer, he'll get used to it") and offer tickets to the sold out minor league baseball team, The Salem Titans.
• Nicole and Kinsey bond over lattes, despite Nicole not recalling Kinsey's name.
• Abigail frets about Chad becoming more DiMera-like and encourages her mother to not give up on Daniel.
• Melanie cheers up her despondent father at the Cheating Heart by announcing that she will be officially taking his name and become known as Melanie Jonas.
• Sofia visits Rafe to tell him that the plan to trap Fake Rafe worked like a charm, then proceeds to converse in Spanish with Rafe and Dario, which makes Samantha uncomfortable and lost.
• Tad freaks out when his internet troll buddies announce that Jackson Kiriakis is gay.
• Alice Caroline Horton returns back in the USA after spending the past few SalemDays in Singapore with her father.
• Chloe realizes that she needs money for an apartment deposit, so she calls Quinn, obtains a generous advance, and agrees to work it off.
• Vivian wanders Salem, routinely dismisses Gus, and overhears that Jennifer has broken up with Daniel Jonas because Carly is still interested in her baby daddy.
• Officer McCartney recalls that Fake Rafe was intently looking at a mug shot, leading Bo to think that the mug shot may be the photo of pre-surgical Fake Rafe.
• Bo calls Stephanie Johnson to get the scoop on Fake Rafe's loutish behavior, which is also confirmed by Nicole.
• Fake Rafe is identified as Arnold AKA Arnie.
• DA Woods snarls at the Bradys, then meets up with ex-son Chad Peterson Woods DiMera at the Cheating Heart to trade bitter commentary.
• Fake Rafe is killed by four thugs in the Salem prison cell, forcing the Salem PD to release Stefano and Elvis.
• A depressed Elvis gives Samantha full custody of Johnny/Sydney, has a seizure in the living room, is taunted by bitter Nicole while flouncing around on the floor, arrives at Salem University Hospital to have sister Alexandra quickly diagnose a "brain swell" which is immediately cured by steroids, begins to recall seeing a woman's feet at the pier as he laid post-smackdown, remembers that Melanie nursed him, apologizes to a concerned Taylor who visits his bedside, and then threatens Melanie that he will figure out what role she played in his beating.
• Viv arranges for Carly to see a contrived Daniel-Jennifer reunion, which leads Carly to meet up with Quinn's drug dealer a second time.
• Carly finds a ziplock bag of pills that the drug dealer conveniently dropped on the pier, yet doesn't swallow them, instead returning for a hospital shift before a late night snack at the Brady Pub with Melanie and Daniel.
• Brady offers Dario Hernandez a job at Titan.
• Chloe excitedly gets hired by the Brookville club for a one-night gig and shares the news with new BFF Kinsey and The Cheating Heart Kiriakii.
• Jennifer concocts a ruse that her ex-husband Jack is still in her life, giving Daniel a second reason for their breakup.
• Carly gets upset and swallows a handful of the pills she found on the pier, collapsing in her hotelroom.

SalemDay 18 began on Tuesday July 26.

• Nicole and Kate bond over morning martinis, their spouses, and hatred for Taylor.
• Dressed as a chambermaid, Viv sneaks into Carly's hotelroom, mixes pills into water, and forces a nearly-passed-out Carly to sip more drugs.
• Jennifer finds Carly sprawled on the floor, drags her into the shower to awaken her, forces soap down her throat to regurgitate the drugs, and saves a bitter Carly from near-death.
• Tad blows a gasket and spouts wild homophobic taunts at Jackson, only to be interrupted by Victor, who throats 100% support for his nephew and 100% disdain for the arrogant teen.
• Maggie wrestles with her feelings for Victor but is impressed by his defense of nephew Jackson Kirkiakis.
• After the debacle of FakeRafe, Bo is demoted from commissioner and replaced by Roman.
• Elvis checks himself out of the hospital and bonds with Nicole on the pier.
• Vivian is thrilled by her payback of Carly, posting a photo of her handiwork to the internet, giggling with delight about the role her secret son played, and annoying sidekick Gus, who starts drinking heavily and rebuffs a job offer from Kate.
• Melanie and Daniel race to Carly's hotel room once they see the Carly Photo, embarassing the doctor so much that she sneaks out of the hotelroom, disappears from her friends, wanders into a dark alley, dumpster-dives a couple of discarded beer bottles, passes out drunk, and is approached by a lecherous homeless thug.
• Maggie dines with Victor, applauds his heart, pronounces her love, drags him to her house, and invites him to stay for breakfast, an invitation which he gladly accepts.
• Taylor tosses a vase across Brady's head, knocking him out, steals his gun, meets Elvis at the pier just as she is about to toss the gun in the river, and decides to give him the gun as a test.
• Prompted by teasing by Jackson and Kinsey, Will decides to boink Gabi for the first time, only to have great-grandmother Caroline interrupt their First Time with a request for help at the pub.
• Tad takes Kinsey to an upscale hotel for their hookup, where Kinsey spies Chloe taking money as she slinks into an adjacent room with a sleazy older businessman.
• Elvis arrives at the Kiriakis Mansion and returns the gun to Brady.
• Quinn saves Carly from being raped/assaulted by the thug, carrying her back to his hotelroom, where she passes out yet again and he realizes that she is Carly Manning.

The Beat Goes On

SalemDay 13 began on Monday May 23.  Highlights included:

• Original Rafe began his role as "Fake Rafe" by wearing a wire and attempting to get the DiMeras to verbally admit what happened, which they don't.
• Caroline is furious with Samantha for reuniting with Rafe. 
• After "leaving Salem" for an entire Salem Day, Taylor reappears at the pier just as Elvis plots to shot and kill "Rafe", announces that she never left town after all, shut off her phone service,  took up residence at a hotel near the Salem Airport, and drags Elvis there to seduce him after getting him to admit that only she can prevent him from being evil.
• Melanie/Brady and Abigail/Chad shoot pool at the Cheating Heart, as Abigail notices that Melanie only has eyes for Dario.
• Chloe is flying high after Justin and Adrienne arrange for her to see Parker in a supervised visit at the Kiriakis Mansion (while Philip is in town) and then enjoys a delightful evening with Quinn, who gets all freaky watching cellphone video of his hookups with Chloe and begins his life as druglord by sampling the product on the pier.
• Adrienne misses her four sons and excitedly tells her husband that Sonny may come to visit now that the semester has ended.
• Jennifer and Daniel have an awkward date of Chez Rouge food in the Horton Living Room, which gets interrupted by a hospital call, a private panic attack, a visit from Maggie, a temporary loss of credit cards and ID, and a walk-in by iPod-wearing Abigail as they wrestle on Alice's sofa like teens.
• Vivian gets all angsty with Gus on a park bench when she finally realizes that her future with Victor is nonexistent, after which she snarls at Quinn, who insists they have no relationship despite being her son.
• Gabi has an appendectomy and takes up residence in The Salem Hospital Room.
• After being tormented by Original Rafe for details about his DiMera Connections, Fake Rafe worries that Original Rafe will find Fay's cameo, then breaks free from his ropes just before Samantha shows up.
• After being visited by The Ghost Of Fay, Nicole shows up at the Hernandez Loft, tosses herself at Rafe with disastrous results, senses that something is different, and fails to notice her mother's cameo atop the luggage that FakeRafe had packed.
• Lucas calls his half-sister.
• Melanie applies to become a Nurse Practitioner and decides she wants to be more than friends with Dario. 

SalemDay 14 began on Tuesday, June 7.

• Nicole is furious when she learns that Elvis spent the night with her sister at the Salem Airport Motel, trashes the DiMera living room, slaps sister Taylor, then appeals to Stefano to stop the Elvis-Taylor relationship from continuing .
• Chloe is furious when she learns that good-guy Quinn actually wants to pimp her out to wealthy clients by blackmailing her with videos of their encounters and the cash he paid for her services.
• Carly is strung-out in withdrawal in the AM, prompting a chicken-soup get-well-soon visit from Daniel and Melanie, and shows up for hospital duty in the afternoon, claiming that she is "all better". 
• Melanie and Dario give a hospitalized Gabi a private prom with Will.
• A deranged Brady pummels Elvis on the pier, stopped only when Nurse Melanie interrupts and aids the bloodied, unconscious DiMera.
• Jennifer plans a spa weekend away with Daniel, snarls at her daughter for being overly sensitive, is hobbled when Young Explorer Ciara's attempt at self-defense goes awry, has a miraculous recovery when Daniel "adjusts" her back, and leaps into bed with the doctor only minutes after unpacking her clothes.
• Kate congratulates Quinn on adding Chloe to his stable of rent-girls, while Chloe awkwardly meets her first official paying customer at the Cheating Heart..
• Taylor arrives at the loft to get information about her mother's deathbed babbling about Rafe, only to spot Fay's cameo brooch, then is convinced by Samantha to give them 24 hours to explain.
• Bo assigns a cop to follow Rafe, leading Bo and Hope to the warehouse where FakeRafe is being held hostage. 
• Taylor tells Nicole that Rafe Hernandez killed their mother.
• Melanie summons her parents to cave Elvis, joining Daniel, Carly, and Jennifer at a clinic near the pier, where Elvis has seizure and only momentarily regains consciousness..
• Daniel manages to get Elvis to University Hospital, where Alexandra quizzes the doctor about details, calls Police Chief Bo to investigate, and telephones Taylor.
• Jennifer puts Carly to bed and cleans the hotel room. finding what appears to be crushed drugs on the credenza.

SalemDay 15 began on Wednesday June 22.

• Many Salemites pull an all-nighter.
• Bo wakes up at University Hospital and begins to quiz Elvis on what happened at the pier.
• After being summoned to the hospital by a random nurse's phone call, Nicole fantasizes about smothering her husband with a pillow, realizes that Brady is the one who beat him down, and insists that a divorce is imminent.
• Original Rafe locates Taylor on the pier, tries to tell her that there is more to the story, and insists that she cannot be anywhere near Elvis.
• Hope locks Fake Rafe in a closet, races to the pier, sends Original Rafe to watch his doppelganger, advises Taylor that everything will work out, then connects that Taylor and Elvis are now a couple.
• Maggie begins decorating the Brady Pub for Salem High Graduation at dawn, summons her Aunt Julie to join her, admits that she feels guilty about seeing anyone with Mickey having been dead for such a brief time, and laments that Gangster Emeritus Victor Kiriakis won't be a part of her life.
• Julie brings her own coffee to the pub because Caroline makes her coffee "too weak".
• Melanie lies to Victor about Brady's injuries, however he puts the pieces together and learns about Pier Brawl 2011.
• Jackson Kiriakis arrives in Salem, reconnects with his cousin Abigail Deveraux on the pier, excites his parents with his early arrival at the Cheating Heart, and seems thrilled to meet up with his Uncle Victor, a notion both of his parents quickly dismiss.
• With the video confession by Fake Rafe destroyed and both Walker Sisters spouting in public that Rafe killed Faye, Bo and Hope launch a plan to trick the DiMeras into thinking they believe Rafe is dangerous and sought for arrest.
• Will, Gabi, Kinsey, and T graduate from Salem High and party like its 1945 at a Brady Pub celebration
• Dario is questioned by the police about his whereabouts during the brutal attack on Elvis, only to have both Adrienne and Melanie concoct phony alibis for him.
• Jennifer learns from Abigail that Katerina Von Leuschner filled prescriptions, steals Carly's room key, sneaks a sample of the powder from the credenza, insists that Daniel secretly test the white flakes, and then learns from him that the powder is remnants of highly addictive prescription drugs.
• Stefano pleads with his son to remain secretive with Taylor, eavesdrops on their awkward tenderness, and sets up a meeting with the person he believes is Fake Rafe, only to be stood up at the pier.
• Justin, Adrienne, and Jackson dine at Chez Rouge, meeting Chloe, who has been reunited with son Parker for a supervised visitation.
• Vivian extends an olive branch to her son Quinn, who threatens Chloe, reminding her that he controls every aspect of her life.

SalemDay 16 began on Wednesday June 29.

• Bo and Hope launch their plan to snare the DiMeras, planting a story in the local newspaper and seeming to hunt Rafe Hernandez as the attacker.
• Kate tricks Chad into delivering a bogus message to henchman Marco, enabling Abigail to see the nasty side of DiMera Enterprises.
• Elvis checks out of Salem University Hospital, gets a haircut, searches for Taylor, and proposes to her in the park a mere ten SalemDays after marrying Nicole and meeting Taylor for the first time.
• Samantha fakes a hysterical angry moment at the DiMera Mansion to plant a small bug in the living room.
• Maggie visits, teases, and kisses Victor, then flees the mansion.
• Jennifer confronts Carly, who barely convinces Jennifer that her drug issue is resolved.
• A tipsy Nicole follows Original Rafe to the warehouse, where she discovers Fake Rafe, who convinces her to untie and free him.
• Nicole passes out in the warehouse.
• Original Rafe arrives at the DiMera Mansion, hoping to trick Stefano and Elvis into admitting details about the Rafe Switch
• Taylor arrives at the DiMera Mansion just after Fake Rafe appears in the living room and learns that the replacement planted by the DiMeras did kill her mother.
• Samantha arrives at the DiMera Mansion and slugs Elvis
• Bo and Hope join the crowd in the living room as Elvis pleads with Taylor to forgive him.
• Johnny overhears Rafe calling Elvis a killer, prompting him to race into the room, see the second Rafe, get confused, and demand to go home with Samantha and Original Rafe.
• A sobered up Brady spies Melanie and Dario sharing a tender kiss at the Cheating Heart.
• Bo and Hope arrest Fake Rafe.
• Chloe completes another assignment.

SalemDay 12 began on Monday May 16.  Highlights include:

• Stefano wonders why FakeRafe hasn't used any funds on his million-dollar debit card.
• Original Rafe has a faint memory of being sponge-bathed by Samanther during their ordeal at the SafeHouse.
• Melanie gets all dolled up to swoon for new neighbor Dario in the hallway.
• Chloe panics about her previous night one-night-paid-for-big-bucks stand
• Maggie donates Mickey's clothes to charity.
• Brady suddenly gives a portion of Titan back to Victor in return for learning that Elvis bought the drug organization from his grandfather.
• Taylor overhears that Nicole is blackmailing her husband, but decides to leave Salem, quitting her job at Titan Industries and telling the Carvers that her time in Salem has ended.

• Bo mentions he is suspended, but later learns form Roman he is reinstated and that Hope's police career is over.
• Chloe hallucinates "baby crying", feels forlorm, pens two letters, and tosses herself from the pier into the Salem RIver.
• Jennifer is released from the hospital, mocks Daniel for his lack of "love", wheels Baby Parker around the hospital a few times, and guilts Daniel into baby-sitting while Chloe is hospitalized.
• Elvis and Nicole wed. 
• Melanie gets stressed and loses baby.

SalemDay 7, 2011 began on Wednesday March 2. Highlights include:

• Abby returns to Salem, shorter, with darker hair, calling herself Abigail
• Chloe changes Parker's Birth Certificate, checks out of the hospital, and moves into the Kiriakis Mansion..
• Chad celebrates his real birthday for the first time.
• Carly returns from a Toronto Medical Conference
• Melanie released from the hospital, breaks up with Philip, breaks up with Nathan, has a relapse, and returns to the hospital.

• Fay returns, announces her heart condition, moves into the DiMera Mansion Guest House, and cajoles Taylor to move in as her nurse.

• Fay doesn't take her sedative, wanders to the DiMera Foyer, and overhears Stefano, Elvis and FakeRafe discuss their plans
• Taylor tells Nicole that she intends to leave the mansion.
• FakeRafe discovers that Fay knows he is an imposter and he tosses her down the stairs.
• Chad moves into the DiMera Mansion, blasts generic rock music, noshes on an apple in the living room, and meets Vivian Alamain when she and Gus go snooping at the Mansion.
• Fay wakes up briefly in the hospital and tells Taylor that Nicole is in trouble, passes out before saying anything else, wakes up when Elvis visits, and freaks out, confusing him.
• Taylor tells Elvis that she is moving to Chicago
• Carly overhears Vivian chatting with Nicholas, then later calls him and bemoans their estrangement

• Nicole has nightmares about Fay, leading her to question Elvis about his secrets, only to hear him announce that he is a DiMera and has thousands of secrets
• Jennifer and Daniel declare that they are on the rebound, so no romance in the cards.
• Elvis thinks that Fay knew about Fake Rafe, prompting scoffs from his father about "the waitress".
• To Samantha's confusion and anger, Fake Rafe has a beer @9AM and mourns Fay Walker.
• Nicole overhears Elvis and Stefano discuss a secret about Rafe before she, Taylor, and Elvis jet off to Chicago to join Brandon for Fay's burial.
• While Taylor and Elvis share an awkward limo ride, Nicole grills Fay's pastor about any secrets her mother shared and decides to call Rafe.
• Chloe boozes it up at The Cheating Heart, snaps at her ex-, drunk-dials Kate, threatens to take Parker far far away from Salem, then begs for forgiveness upon returning to the mansion and meeting an angry Philip.
• Samantha takes Johnny and Sydney to visit Uncle Eric in Colorado, prompting Fake Rafe to see his chance for escape, only to be kept in Salem by the confused Hernandez siblings and a frustrated Commander Roman Brady.
• Bo and Hope are anxious about the missing Ciara, who falls at her secret campsite, hits her head, and breaks her cellphone.
• Drug dealer Troy returns to the DiMera Mansion, threatens Stefano about revealing the DiMera role in the drug operations, sneaks into Daniel's apartment, attacks Melanie just as she begins reading a romance novel, gets beaten down by Dario Hernandez, and has a seizure in the hospital as his drug withdrawal sets in.
• Carly is a hot mess as she shows up at the Brady Household, weeps incessantly at Bo, offers a hug to a startled Hope, denies there is a problem to Daniel, then breaks down again as she wanders Salem.
• Justin and Adrienne return from their overnight Vegas Wedding in time to see Jennifer blush every time Dr Jonas touches her.
• Philip leaves Salem with Parker, settling in a fancy schmancy Chicago Kiriakis Apartment.
• Original Rafe easily steals an orderly uniform and escapes from the mental ward, clutching the Safe House Key on the chain around his neck while Fake Rafe is delayed yet again in his Salem departure, deciding to bring a Cheating Heart Floozy back to the loft for a raucous frolic. 

Salem Day 11 began on Monday 04-25-2011.

• Chloe begins her day by boozing it up at the Cheating Heart, reading her divorce degree, mocking Nicole's theory that Rafe was held in the DiMera Basement Prison,  and tossing her burger at Adam, who proceeds to ask her for a date even though she has just told him that she has countless ex-husbands.
• Elvis, Nicole, and Taylor return from Chicago, having buried Fay Walker and traded in Taylor for an actress 20 pounds lighter, 10 years older, and 4 inches shorter.
• Original Rafe wakes up in a convent, after passing out moments after finding the Safe House key in the neatly-trimmed grasslands of Outer Salem. 
• Elvis announces to Taylor that he is ending his five-SalemDay-old marriage and plans to ask Nicole for a divorce, which thrills Taylor 2.0 so much that they began fondling one another, unaware that Nicole has secretly entered the room and discovered the truth.
• Melanie and Victor are both furious that Maggie has agreed to let Chloe stay at the Horton House.
• Carly admits to Adrienne that she is having issues, which the newly-re-minted Mrs Kiriakis instantly diagnoses as depression, although neither woman declares that Katerina von Leuschner needs professional help.
• Fake Rafe has car trouble on the outskirts of Centerville, just in time to meet up with Ciara and Theo.
• The Ghost of Fay Walker comes to Nicole's aid, encouraging her to remain tough.
• Bo arrives in Centerville to save Ciara and Theo. 
• Samantha returns from her one SalemDay vacation in Colorado, drops the kids off at the pub, congratulates the "hero" FakeRafe, has some awkward moments with her husband at home, overhears Dario announce that FakeRafe hooked up with a Cheating Hart floozy in Samantha's bed, orders Fake Rafe to leave once and for all, mistakenly picks up the secret DiMera ATM card for Javier Morales, whines to Grandma Caroline, flees to the Safe House, only to be stunned when Original Rafe shows up, dazed and confused.
• Fake Rafe arrives at the Safe House after tricking a nun or two that he was searching for his "unstable twin"
• Samantha is bewildered by two Rafes, shoots one of them in the shoulder, and reconnects with Original Rafe.. 
• Nicole gets DNA proof that Rafe Hernandez was secretly held in the DiMera basement and blackmails her husband into staying in their marriage.
• Taylor is bewildered after a romantic picnic in the DiMera back yard when Elvis suddenly decides that he is remaining married to her sister.
• Chad and Stefano bond over chess.
• In less than thrity minutes, Chloe accepts three LemonDrop drinks from Australian-accented Quinn, who whisks her from the Cheating Heart to the Salem Inn, where he kindly leaves behind a stack of $100 bills as her "reward"
• Chloe feels awful about messing up Maggie's plans, announces that she is moving out after only one Salem Night, and getting her own place, which confuses everyone in Salem since she is allegedly broke and destitute. 

SalemDay 5, 2011

Dawn breaks on the fifth SalemDay of 2011.

On this SalemDay:

• Taylor begins work at the hospital gift shop, dreams about Elvis, and delivers flowers.
• Chloe renegs on being Maid of Honor for Nicole because she is so "depressed" 
• Philip takes Chloe to University Hospital, goads Daniel into being her doctor, and gets post-partum prescription for his baby-mama.
• FakeRafe scares Allie with a sudden trip to the park.
• Allie tells Sami that Rafe is "mean". 
• Kate manipulates Chloe to dump the post-partum meds barely hours after getting them.
• Johnny gets his replacement eye prosthesis
• Elvis tricks Kate into having Lucas demand to have Allie sent to Hong Kong THAT NIGHT.
• Chad feigns interest in Johnny's recovery to visit the loft and make goo-goo eyes with Will.
