• Elvis is furious and angry when he realizes that Clyde has an aggressive expansion campaign in development, including recruiting DiMera operatives.
• Susan Banks returns to Salem and spends an afternoon with her son.
• Hope and Aiden have a secretive, disastrous secret luncheon in Chicago.
• Paige starts her hospital internship, then freaks out when she accidentally overhears that Kayla was raped, unaware that JJ's father was the attacker.
• Susan visits John in the hospital.
• Ben borrows money from Clyde, rents a lavish hotel suite, and beds Abigail.

SalemDay 30 began on Friday, October 3, 2014.

• As his condition improves, John begins asking detailed questions about the incident in the Kiriakis Living Room, then abruptly remembers all.
• Jeannie Theresa plots to keep her attack secret.
• Caroline gives her reluctant blessing to Hope's divorce plan.
• Julie visits Eve.
• John lies and tells everyone that Brady hit him and that he deserved to be hit.
• Will and Jackson plan a party for the kids, who have just returned from a handful of SalemDays at "camp".
• While meeting at the edge of the park, Elvis remains furious with Clyde, slapping him, which prompts turncoat Miguel to shoot Elvis, killing him.

• Jeannie Theresa excitedly tells Brady of her pregnancy, which he instantly doubts, and agrees to take a blood test, after which her Aunt Kayla declares that there is no child.
• Ben gets money from Clyde and rents an apartment.
• Aiden gets angry at the mere mention of his old home in Portland, finally explains to Hope that his wife Meredith committed suicide at their Puget Sound beach house, and then beds the divorcee.
• Daniel operates on Paul.
• Paige realizes that her mother slept with someone, and guesses that it was Daniel.
• Nicole and Daniel re-connect as friends.

• Kate finally admits that she hired Jordan and then found Clyde while researching Jordan's past.
• Chad moves on with Jordan Ridgeway.
• Serena Mason arrives in Salem and gets settled into the hospital to continue research.
• Suddenly, XMAS decor appears all over Salem.
• Will returns to Salem with Arianna Grace and is quickly re-hired by Zoe to write a cover story for Sonyx.
