SalemDay 37 began on Friday, December 12, 2014.

• Paige is heartened that Grandpa Shane will be fine.
• Hope worries that Aiden isn't truthful.
• Victor threatens Clyde, who does not react well.
• Serena reconnects with bestie Melanie Jonas.
• Kimberly and Eve receive great news about Shane, however Eve manipulates the doctor to create a "concern" for Paige, keeping them both in LA.
• Will interviews Paul Narita three times in one day at Paul's hotel room.
• Eve returns to Salem to collect some belongings to move to LA, encounters JJ at her door as she is preparing to catch her flight, and boinks him on the living room sofa.

SalemDay 38 began on Thursday, December 25, 2014.

• It's suddenly XMAS Eve in Salem
• After Paige discovers the lies told by Shane's doctor, she returns to Salem, furious that her mother manipulated the situation.
• Kayla is not happy about Hope dating Aiden.

SalemDay 39 began on Friday, December 26, 2014.

• It's XMAS Day in Salem.
• Arianna Grace comes down with a fever, sidelining her from the festivities.
• Jackson attends the Kiriakis holidays without Will, unsettling his mother.
• John returns to Salem and joins Marlena as she babysits her great-granddaughter.
• Ornaments are hung by the extended Horton Clan.
• Abigail reads the Christmas Story to the hospitalized children, recalling that she herself was once a sick child with aplastic anemia.

The Fortieth, and Last, SalemDay of 2014 begins on Monday, December 29, 2014.

• Daniel tells Paul that the surgery was unsuccessful and that he won't pitch again.
• Melanie starts at the hospital, despite the efforts of Jeannie Theresa an Anne Milbauer to sabotage her return.
• It's suddenly New Year's Eve
• Jackson has to drain all of his family savings to try and salvage the new bar.
• Kayla dates Internet Bob and expresses true concern about Aiden, angering Hope.
• JJ tells Paige that he hooked up with someone while she was in LA for 1.5 SalemDays.
• Will continues to interview Paul, who nearly seduces the "journalist".
• Bellhop Derek chases Jackson away from Paul's hotel room and suggests that he and Jackson have private time, an idea which Jackson immediately rebuffs, pointing to his wedding band.
• Brady and Melanie have a surprising romantic moment during the NYE fireworks.
